The Blue Marsh Sailing Association has a wide array of informative programs at the monthly meeting. Social activities often are the order of the evening; however, we schedule presentations from other groups and individuals. The object of these programs are to keep members informed on topics related to sailing, safe boating, and other topics of nautical interest.
We have had programs on the following topics:

- weather and water conditions forecasting
- outdoor safety, hyperthermia and sunburn
- chart reading and navigation
- knot tying and safe docking
- boat and trailer maintenance
- chartering a boat
- United States Power Squadron courses
- Coast Guard Auxillary training
- crewing and living aboard
- the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Clubs Association
